We have an exciting opportunity for a real-estate investment professional to join our dedicated UK Portfolio Management team, as a Director.

Within this role you’ll play a lead role in the implementation of Greystar’s investment strategies, programs, policies, and initiatives related to investment management and oversight of selected funds, joint ventures and separate accounts. This role supports the development and implementation of business plans and practices that achieve the financial, investment, and operating goals of the portfolio and Greystar and oversees the internal and external reporting of the ventures. Based in London, the Portfolio Management team helps to deploy and manage our various investment vehicles in the UK.
Leading a team of Associates and Analysts, you’ll work closely with colleagues and senior leaders across the wider Investment, Investor Relations, Development and Real Estate Management business in communicating investment thesis and creating investment materials. You will also interact heavily with investment and capital partners. 

As the successful candidate, you’ll be able to demonstrate senior level experience in a similar investment, asset or portfolio management role. Experience within Real Estate is essential, experience within the UK or related international regions would be advantageous. You’ll also have a strong understanding of real estate and debt markets; and of standard terms and structures of deal capital; and ideally, a general understanding of student/multi-family housing and third-party management.

It is essential that you can demonstrate core leadership skills at a high level to organise, motivate and engage a team into achieving shared goals. You’ll be adept at building positive relationships and able to act with impact and influence at all levels; and with your commercial, inquisitive and analytical mindset, you’ll be able to effectively assess sensitivities and pressure points during complex negotiations and apply sound business principals to solutions. You’ll be flexible and collaborative in your approach to work, with resilience to be effective in a in fast-paced change environment.
