The Technical Yardi Consultant is responsible for executing key projects within our finance system platform for the European business.  The job holder will contribute local technical level super user expertise, also be responsible for requirements gathering, business and systems process mapping and detailed system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Technical Project Lead to implement key planned business finance functionality within our Yardi Systems.
  • Maintains and administers the Yardi Voyager & RentCafe systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and the standardisation of procedures and practices.
  • Leads and/or participates in the due diligence and property set up process by completing systems conversions and/or set-up of new properties.
  • Coordinates and assists in supervising systems upgrades, conversion, and installations by evaluating and recommending upgrades based on business needs and requirements.
  • Works closely with the UK & US Systems team to ensure that the databases are maintained in accordance with global policy.
  • Prepares and executes Voyager ETLs in the appropriate sequence.
  • Works with Learning and Development - Systems to develop technical documents, user support and technical manuals to support systems and software training.
  • Prepares detailed functional programme specifications for reports, interfaces and other modules.
    Communicates with management regarding the progress of software and systems training initiatives.
  • Creates and analyses reports, gathering feedback from managers and team members, reviewing other Company reports related to benchmarks and performance metrics and making recommendations for enhancing results.

Your Profile:

  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager 7S at an expert level including experience running the system through various year end cycles and of undertaking a minimum of 3 Yardi Voyager module implementations.
  • A solid understanding of ETLs and YSR.
  • A good working knowledge of Yardi Residential, GL Accounting (AR/AP), Bank Book, Residential Service Charges, Purchase Orders & PayScan (desirable).
  • IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including Excel, Access and Project.
  • Experience of working with operational business systems, in a similar senior level system administration or analytical and systems implementation/project management/support role.
  • Experience of helpdesk/system support services.
  • Solid business analysis skills to be effective at activity and milestone management and tracking of progress.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with impact and influence.
