The Marketing Manager owns the lifecycle of a development and project from conception to stabilisation and beyond. This includes strategic and tactical marketing plans that drive brand and placemaking through to enquiries, leads, occupancy and revenue. This role focuses on housing brands we manage in Spain with various properties in different locations.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and execution of marketing programmes that support achievement of the portfolio business development and financial performance goals by creating brands for assets, implementing collateral and action plans around digital marketing, advertising, sales, new development, content creation, presentations, and resident communications.
  •  Oversees, manages and creates collateral, communications, promotional materials, presentations, website content, reports and materials.
  • Responsible for and will lead on acquisition marketing, resident retention marketing and resident communications for allocated projects across the portfolio
  • Responsible for liaising and contract negotiations with third party agencies associated with media buying, advertising, listings websites, referral agents and partners.
  • Works closely with the Senior marketing manager, branding manager, property leaders and sales managers to implement creative marketing campaigns and solutions that adhere to budgeted guidelines, including online, print, referrals, outreach marketing, and other tactics, and appropriately selects marketing techniques that fit the property’s resident profile and market conditions.
  • Works with the Digital Marketing Manager or external agencies to build and manage portfolio websites with a strong eye on both the brand and leasing requirements
  • Monitors markets for trends and forecasts which may impact occupancy and leasing effectiveness within the portfolio, recommends changes and response strategies to offset market downturns or opportunities, and provides feedback and recommendations on improving struggling asset performance and maximising revenue generation on performing assets.
  • Creates and delivers presentations based on the marketing plans and strategies to the company directors, sales managers and clients.
  •  Works with internal designers and external design agencies to deliver marketing materials that meet brand guidelines (email campaigns, banners, adverts, flyers etc.) and appeal to the specific target markets
  • Established and maintains regular reports to the Investors on project performance
  • Ensures all campaigns have accurately recorded and reported ROI

Your Profile:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) ideally with a marketing or advertising focus; or by equivalent experience.
  • IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including PowerPoint (Advanced level) and Excel (Advanced level)
  • A proven track record in creating successful integrated marketing plans and campaigns targeting the Spanish & international audience
  • Workable knowledge of marketing via SEM, social media and content channels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English); including the ability to effectively write and present reports and information to support strategic business decisions
  • Great eye for detail with creative flair and confidence to critique own work and others
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple projects effectively under pressure and to deadlines
  • A strong problem solver with an inquisitive nature and the ability to understand the bigger picture
  • A positive team player, with an adaptable and flexible approach along with ability to work collaboratively to drive results and support the wider team and business objectives
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other relevant tools for measuring campaign success.
